The Blingsting Car Emergency Kit has really thought of it all. I mainly was looking for the window-breaking and seatbelt cutting tool, after I heard a story on a podcast about a man dying when he crashed his car into water and couldn't get out. Along with being an anxious person in general, I like to be as prepared as possible for emergencies, so I thought it would be a smart thing to keep in my vehicle, just in case. Anyway, this roadside emergency kit contained so much more along with the hammer/cutter that I was more than impressed! It includes a spare battery pack (including the AA-batteries to power it), a reflective emergency blanket, gloves, a tire pressure gauge, a basic first aid kit, a wind-up flashlight, and more! It also comes in the cutest hot pink case that easily fits in the glove compartment. I know you can't plan for every emergency or possible contingency, but even a little bit of preparedness goes a long way.
Really cute bag with some safety essentials and still room to add other items. Got it for my daughter who travels back and forth from college. Gives me a little piece of mind.
This car emergency kit has some great items in it. It's defiantly a great value for your money in my opinion. I put it in my glove compartment. I would recommend getting one for yourself or as a gift. Disclosure: This product was received for free as part of the Amazon Vine Program. The review I have provided is an honest review and I have had no contact with the company.
Good little set, unfortunately in pink rather than a color everyone wants, but still useful in a car, and it's bright enough to be seen among lots of black.
The glass breaker is good, bandaid are always good, tire gage, gloves, rain protection, etc. Tape is good to have. Really, everything in the case could conceivable be a useful item to have in case of some sort of mishap, never mind an emergency. I made sure to take the glass breaker out of the kit and put it in the center console. Everything else went into the back, but its probably better under the front seat.
i bought two for gifts, they both loved them. They haven't been used yet.
Cute, but practical. It's nice to know this little set is available should the need arise.
Cute and perfect for the glove box
This roadside kit was perfect for the new driver we gifted it to. The pink case was so cute. She loved it! Parents will worry less this winter knowing this bag is in her car. Cutting the cord is hard, but knowing children are prepared helps.
This car emergency kit was a great gift. It's bright pink, so my granddaughter got a kick out of that, very portable (can put behind the seat) and has everything needed and then some!
Ten out of ten! I highly recommend hopefully I will never need it but in case of an emergency will be prepared!
5 stars. Such a cute kit that I can put in my emergency bag. I live in why so we get slammed pretty bad in the winter and if I’m ever stuck in the snow I need to have a kit. This kit with extra warm socks, extra pair of clothes, cozy blanket, lighter, tea candles water etc. this kit just made it top notch
The bag is super cute and bright so it’ll be easier to find. The only thing i like the most about it is the window breaker. It’s the same color as the bag and heavy. I feel comfortable having this in my car in case of emergencies. The emergency battery charger is cheap and the flashlight isn’t the best quality but it works. Comes with the necessities in an emergency. Fits in the side door panel of my car perfectly.
I LOVE this! First, it's bright, so you can't miss it in your glove compartment-even in the dark. Second, it has all the essentials you need in an emergency. I've been meaning to get an emergency kit in my car for forever, but they've always seemed expensive/huge and contain either too much or too little. This strikes the perfect balance. The flashlight feels high quality and EVERYONE needs one of those cut the seatbelt/break the window things but so few of us actually have them. It even has little extras that I didn't even think about, but will definitely come in handy. This covers all your bases, buy it, pop it in your glove compartment and hopefully you'll never need it. But trust me, if you ever need it you'll be glad you have it.
Based on the packaging, I really thought this would come with those little pop up hazard triangles. This is a decent emergencies kit, and I love that they included batteries for the phone charger. I will just generally point out the seatbelt cutter is useless because you can't secure it anywhere in reach of the driver, and in the event of a crash anything loose just becomes a projectile that bounces around. Really wish it had even like a little clip on the side to try and keep it in place in the door pocket, or attached to the seatbelt.
Nothing in this is very high quality, really it's good for like if you get a rental car, or you're saving up to buy good quality supplies slowly over time. Everything in here should work at least once, but I wouldn't plan on repeat use.
This little kit is adorable and so useful! I love that it doesnt take up much space in my small car. I would have liked for it to have some kind of hazard signs/lights. but other than that, love it!
I love that there is so much in this bag and that the bag is bright pink! This would make a great gift for a new driver too. This set has everything you need, plus some you hopefully won’t ever have to use! Great quality
This thing is pink. Holy wow, it is pink. You will never not be able to find this thing, no matter how dark it is when you need it.
Once I got done laughing at how insanely pink it is and actually looked at it.. It IS its own triangle warning thing. That gold thread is pretty reflective. Set the entire thing on your trunk, and headlights will light it up. It's a bit small for that, but it's still a very creative way to incorporate it without having to add addtional bulk.
The contents are amazing. This is a really nice little kit. For $25? I'll be grabbing another one for my kid when she gets her first car. Everything in it is simple. They definitely adhered to the KISS method, here. The flashlight requires so little effort that anyone can crank it. It stayed lit on just a few cranks the entire time I examined the kit, and wrote this review out and it's still going strong. I'm going to have to see if this company sells just this emergency flashlight. It's that nice.
The emergency charger isn't like anything I've ever seen before. It takes AA batteries. I don't want batteries sitting it in to corrode so I haven't tested it, but I have faith that it would be a whole lot better than nothing in a pinch. Just make sure you read the instructions.
The window breaker is perfect. It has an extremely sharp point that is protected by a silicone cap. I love how sharp that point is. You need a small, concentrated strike to break tempered glass. The smaller and sharper the point is, the less force is required. And a silicone cap is a nice touch because again, it's sharp. Very well thought out. Don't keep it in the kit in your trunk, though. Keep it up front with you somewhere you can reach it while belted in. A seatbelt cutter could go from life saving to useless, if you can't reach it while setbelted.
Aside from the fairly basic first aid kid, which is better than nothing, this really is a high quality road hazard kit. Definitely worth the buy, and the minimal space it would take in the vehicle.
I feel better having this in my car, especially the window smasher/seat belt cutter. Like insurance, it's something you hope you never have to use, but protecting yourself, just in case. I only wish it had a couple of the light up triangles to warn other drivers. Or, maybe a flare.
this is a pretty good little get who's had jumper cables too
The kit contains all the essentials needed in case of an emergency.
Love this stays in my car
