When can I use my Stun Gun?

First thing is first, always check your local laws in regards to the carry and use of stun guns. If allowed, you should carry your stun gun with you at all times. Keep it in your purse while you’re on the go or by your night stand when at home. Keep it somewhere safe and so that you know where it is at all times.

Stun guns should only be used for self-defense purposes if you feel physically threatened by someone. “A person is justified in using force again another when and to the degree the actor reasonably believes the force is immediately necessary to protect the actor against the other’s use or attempted use of unlawful force.” (Sec. 9.31. TX Penal Code.)
